BBC News reporter Caroline Brocklebank visted us on the boat today on the last day in Albert Dock in Hull. She interviewed Peter the Skipper and his son Sam, who is both a fully qualified ships' engineer and a qualified skipper. Caroline took pictures and also videoed the two chaps, following all the work they and the crew have completed whilst in dry dock over the last couple of weeks. You can see the results on the Facebook page or on the BBC Humberside Website
Today, (Feb 2nd 2016) the Belle travelled through the bridges of Hull and hopes to leave the safety of Hull's Albert Dock, intending to travel down the River Humber and back up the East Yorkshire Coast to the home port of Bridlington on Wednesday 3rd February.
Peter said, "we think we will be leaving around 1230 (noon) if we can, althought clearly it will depend on the weather forecast and tides - so fingers crossed that it will be a good day for us to set sail, especially after Storm Henry"!
Sam said, "Come along and wave at us if you can, or better still take some pictures and send them to us if you can"
